Simple0x47
It's not possible. It's the pyshics engine with a good defined collisions. Link to comment

Simple0x47
Shaders are for making just an ilussion effect. Link to comment

xRambo
Actually i saw it once in a server, thats why iam asking if its possible to script @Simple01 Edited January 7, 2017 by xRambo Link to comment
HeySlickThatsMe
In my opinion it would be cool but it would be hard and MAY be impossible to do Shaders only apply a texture to the object , so having a scratch is nice , but if you want a deformation then afaik its not possible DK22pac tried to do this for standard gta sa but he did left the project i think Link to comment
Captain Cody
It is possible. You just need to make dummies for everything; and show / hide the dummy when damaged or not. GTA 5 has preset damage models, no other game but Beam NG drive has actual damage deformation. Edited January 7, 2017 by CodyL Link to comment
HeySlickThatsMe
Maybe yeah.. but actually GTA 5 has Kinda both It has deformation which happens in a crash and also has broken objects such as windows etc Link to comment

Captain Cody
It doesn't have real time deformation, I can tell you that for a fact. It's all static deformation code. Link to comment
xRambo
Is there one who would do it for me? i will pay ofcourse Link to comment

HeySlickThatsMe
Alright , then im waiting for someone to do something like that Hype Link to comment
Captain Cody
You would need to modify every vehicle model define col areas, assign new parts etc etc etc it's not impossible but that is basically reengineering sas damage model with up to date one Link to comment
