engineReplaceModel for different elements

Recommended Posts

Not really sure how to explain it, but kind of like 'ehm.. You can replace the model of a certain element, for instance.

I have 2 elegys sat side by side, I'd like to replace the model of only one of them.

So, I'd do something like "engineReplaceModel("themodel.dff", theVehicle)" or something, if that makes any sense, lol.

you mean like having a Silvia and a Skyline both for the elegy?

Maybe we could add something like a secondary ID.

as now, the model is summoned as ID.

With this it could be summoned like ID+2ndID

For example 558+2

It doesnt adds you 2 summing 560. but instead, it checks model 2 (model 1 should be original always, and unremplazable, just in case someone wants to use original) and summons it.

And yes, the car component for model 2 should have +2 on it.

I like this idea.
