A Flairing System for signaling on the map

I did some searching around and saw something sorta of this nature, but it was more of a /whereis that_guy type of thing. At our LAN parties we often meet as a team at certain locations to group up for strikes against the other half of the room. What was wondering was to make something like this easier could you have a /flair command which would do like in WC3 & other similar strat. games which when clicked just sends off a becon on the map that only your other team mates can see.

Kinda sucks to tell everyone to meet at the Crackhouse out on the island when everyone else in the room has ears you know?:>

As far as a /PM system thats all well and good when your talking about only hitting up one person at a time, but it wouldn't be as helpful for telling your whole team of people, unless you could just do /PM myteam *Message* Along the lines of the flairs and the whole map what if sending a flair would actually add a tracking arrow temporarily for say 180secs or so just like the one that leads you to the pizza shop now in MTA, but in your team color.

A Teamspeak System like KungFu mentioned would work, but currently without an internet connection where we play the only thing I could think of would be to maybe run jabber off our linux server or something else, but then again thats another window to flip out to and back.

Thanks for the suggestions & Ideas though. Oh and note taken on the crackhouse:>
