SAUR:RPG! A review!

SAUR which stands for San Andreas Utopia Resource is a RPG server with various number of things to do.

IT started at 16th August 2011 and was continuing to attract players till now. At first it released SAUR RPG: 0.1A under the ownership of (SAUR)Will , (SAUR)Dwayne/Infinite , (SAUR)Castillo. Later it advanced to 2.0 with various Civilian jobs , Emergency jobs , Police jobs , Criminal jobs. It first had a unique IPhone with a User Friendly Control Panel (UCP) to help the players. Unlike other servers it started an own Intro for players when joining like a plane landing in SF (chosen by the player) through airplane and being kidnapped to escaping from police. In 3.0 it fixed a lot of known abuses / bugs and improved the UCP system and brought the new TURF system with various changes from 3.0! There was believed to be clash between the leaders , SAUR RPG lost its one of the owners: (SAUR)Will / Will briggs. Yet it still continued to move to its achievement. During 3.0 it had an contest of reaching 100 players in game and all would be given a Bronze VIP when then they reach it. Then they changed to 4.0 with the UNIQUE ability in which you cannot see in any other servers. (i'm not complaining / discriminating). With this new release of 4.0 players are now able to enjoy playing MTA by playing SAUR. But the SAUR regained its lost OWNER in 4.0 when he apologized to everyone. Till now they continue to take their server and MTA to the next level without even having a break.

As a Christmas event it allowed players to enjoy freely by giving gifts , game money , etc ! Basically SAUR is like a world where we are living today which has real life things like Toll gates / Bank robberies / Casino robberies and has 2 Ultimate Squads : The Military and The SWAT.

Well SAUR is more than these words. If fact its much much more..................................! All are welcome to the server and witness yourself why its POPULAR!

SAUR, for me has been a new beginning. Being one of its trusted and respected players, I view SAUR as one of the best servers in MTA. Holding at about an average of 80-100+ players daily, this is a great feat. The server itself comprises of well disposed and respectful Administrators and Moderators, or to put it simply, The SAUR Staff Team.

SAUR began in the early August of 2011. Since then, we've been improving our server to its very climax.

The people that play on our server, or much more known as the SAUR Community are very kind and friendly and will help in dire situations. This makes us an organized community which helps others, no matter the problem.

The structure of our gamemode is slightly different than other RPGs. Whereas when you are new to this server, you go through a tutorial, which is somewhat about 2-3 minutes. It's a very nice tutorial to help you in being successful in the server. We have a long range of jobs. Some of which I am able to give are as follows: Police, Paramedic, Pilot, Mechanic, Trucker, and Criminal.

We also have 2 official factions. SWAT and Military. Both led by people apart of the SAUR Staff Team. These factions are the elite force of Law Enforcement. To be able to join these groups, we do not include playtime and/or hours you spent in-game. We(SWAT & Military) judge you by your personality, and how mature you are. Then if you by any chance apply, we can give you a try at being on Trial/Probation for a few days, maybe weeks.

We also do encourage RP, but not enforce it. That is why we have a few things which encourage RP. Some of which I'd mention are Gas Stations, Bank Robberies(slightly RP), and Casino Robberies. We all know Gas Stations give you fuel in order for your vehicle to be able to move/drive around.

We have a clan system, which enables you to create your own clan/gang/squad. You can manage your clan, meaning you can change the MOTD(Message of the Day), set/change/make new Ranks, demote, kick, and invite.

We also have a Jail System. Which whenever you get wanted, or do something bad and get caught by Law Enforcement and jailed, you go to jail. The maximum amount of seconds you can stay in jail is about 1200 seconds, which is about 20 minutes, and the lowest is about 3 seconds.

We also have a VIP feature, which is meant to help in the server's payment. Nearly 2/3 of the server players are VIP, to show how much they appreciate this server, and how far they want it to live. The VIP features are as follows: A Jetpack, 500k, lower prices on certain stuff, i.e. Pay 'n' Spray, Gas refueling, 30% more pay out of jobs, Laser attached to guns, 10 vehicle slots(normally limited to 5), and also inside information on SAUR. There also more features that you have benefits with being VIP AND in a clan/gang/squad. These are: Unlimited clan member spots. Of course, we have clan base upgrades, which cost money for you to get. These clan base upgrades are: Pickups, Vehicle spawners, and a radio inside your base playing music.

We also have a Windows Phone. There are multiple things you can do. You can use the 'Phone' app in your phone to call the Police(not the in real life), Mechanic, Medic, and Suicide Hotline!(Don't worry, we won't send a serial killer after you, it's just you suiciding IN-GAME). You can use the 'SMS' app to send a quick message to other players in the server. You can use the 'Settings' app to change the way you want to play. This includes enabling clouds and Blur, lowering and raising your Draw Distance, and setting different shaders(Car Reflect Shader etc). There are more apps, but I'm doing this on my Phone(sadly).

All that is left to say is that you come on SAUR:RPG 4.0 and enjoy the great fun!
