Hi! Following the community discussion in our forums, we have created an official Discord server quite a while ago, as an alternative (and maybe a full replacement in the future) to our current IRC channels. We kept it in under the radar while we were fine tuning things, but we believe we can now present it to you guys. Discord is a hybrid of IRC, an Instant Messenger and a Voice Chat software. It incorporates the most important features of these elements into a handy and multiplatform app which you can run on your desktops, smartphones or tablets. Why is it cool? Compared to IRC, it offers a built-in chat history buffer, so even if you are offline, you can still catch up with what happened in the channels then. IRC also offers that, but only through an IRC Bouncer that you either need to pay for, or have someone host it for you. It also has a modern look and features such as URL embedding (regular websites, but also pictures and videos), handy syntax colouring for pasted code snippets, emojis (also custom ones), chat messages reactions, Steam integration and more. What can I find while I am there? We currently have some channels created, including: #general - for general MTA and offtopic chats #scripting - for Lua scripting-related queries #support - for any problems related to MTA:SA client or server #announcements - for all important messages from us as well as some others. We are still thinking of how to put our Discord server into its full potential, so we may add more channels soon. Can I have Discord app installed and/or running on several of my devices concurrently? Can I use more than one server? Sure, absolutely. It will sync the messages automatically. Today i proudly present to you: OSWS (OpenSourceWaterShader) for MTA: San Andreas! What is this? This resource is a project that i started long ago in order to finally (!) get a decent water shader working for MTA that benefits everybody. The main goal is to get an amazing shader where everyone should contribute to make it the very best looking water that we can get for this game engine. The code is pretty well optimized and the performance should be good for everyone, but a shader model 3.0 graphics card is REQUIRED for this resource! The effect is applied to the water texture itself. It is NOT a post-processing water shader. This means that we do not have to deal with any issues that come with post-processing, for example smoke and any other effect that is rendering behind the drawn water. The downside of this method is the fact that we can not (as far as i know) add refraction to the stuff that is below the water surface. But maybe some genius knows a way to make it happen, or fix the rendering issues of post-processed water. Stuff like that is the main reason why i decided to make this resource a community project, improvements for everyone! What's the meaning of the server's name; I think y'all wondering what's the meaning of this name? why this name exactly? isn't that bull:~? Well, I got the answers, I was in a server before with a friend of mine called Samer aka Baseplate, the server was named Utopia Prosperous Gamers, I loved the idea of Utopia which is an imaginary island which is an ideal place or state. then comes Democratic Community, this expresses the transparency and democracy in our server, our Administration team will handle all the situations democraticly, no dictatorship nor personal decisions, and everything will be infront of players' eyes. About the community: UDC is a project which has been developed since probably 1 year. It's a CnR/RPG/RP project, in this server we're trying to make things as much realistic as we can, we try to give the player the best RP experiance in a RPG/CnR server. We can say this server is based on CIT/SAUR Features but we got our unique ideas and code. Our goal is the make a completely enjoyable atmosphere for our players to enjoy and not get fed up. Introduction The police officers, military and some other groups work together in order to arrest criminals in Los Santos who have committed crimes or to fight in LV and fight for turfs or radio towers if they decide to get into some TDM. Police officers who think they're worthy enough to join a group and improve their policing skills usually, come on forums and then apply for a group. MF and such. They usually work in teams in order to achieve anything like arresting bigger groups or criminals or securing a certain area. The criminals. LV is where like cops they get involved with some TDM. Fighting for turfs and such. But the real criminality is in LS, this is where people work to earn stuff. You can join a gang, make one or just be a free lancer. Usually, those who know how to lead have a gang which is realistic. Realistic gang deals and such or if you don't follow certain terms, you might expect a drive-by. You make your name in LS and you become a boss, not scripted, not a title. People recognise you as a boss if there is anything that people should be afraid of that is coming off you. This was the most brief introduction of UDC because the actual experience from the moment you log in game and see what actually happens there. Maybe you will choose to be the biggest criminal and intimidate people. Or join the police force, maybe the military if you pass the selection and fight the bad in San Andreas. Features Login panel: An advanced UI and simple interface to make it easier for the players Vehicles System: An advanced and Realistic vehicles system that hasn't been used in any other servers before. Spawners System: An advanced vehicles system, it's not really realistic but does the job. Jobs/Employment System: An advanced employment system which contains "SOME" of the jobs as we're still developing the rest of the jobs, you can find jobs all around SA marked with blips in the map. Groups System: Simple UI that allows players to understand the system faster, it contains alot of features for the leaders, and will be improved in further versions. General Information Panel (F1): DX based UI which contains all server Rules- Commands- Jobs info - Updates. Banking System: Realistic banking system, which offers different payment methods (using UDC Card) which is a unique idea that hasn't been used before, the banking system is synchronized with players' accounts using a specific PIN Code that the player should enter. Turfing System: for a better CnR experiance we offer you the best choice which is turfing, actually it might be only for criminals since police officers can't turf, but this feature is well designed and has alot of perks. Fuel System: We tried to make this as much realistic as we could so we made a fuel system which synchronizes fuel refilling with vehicles type (i.e: a truck pays more than a bike to refill) Customs Shop : we found this epic modshop resource made by @Al3grab. Housing System: Make your own real estate, or have your own house, this system isn't finished, but V1.0 is ready to be launched (in further versions you'll be able to buy apartments and add your own furniture). and More ...... My name is Blade. Former owner of Intense Gaming. After some time, I've decided I'd like to give MTA another shot. This time, I want to do it right though. With that being said, i am wanting to hire someone who is well experience is lua, as well as, php. I love my servers to run mysql so having experience in database is great. I am willing to pay for the work that is done. However. The scripter I hire, I'd like to keep as a full time scripter for my new community. Pay will be discussed upon acceptance of the position. I will supply a dev server where all work will be completed as well as any other overhead the scripter may need. The server must contain certain features implemented, as well as have a UCP/Forums link, and other item. This script must also be completed from scratch. Some implemented ideals are fine, but the majority must be custom. All credits will be reserved to the author. Please contact me for further information.

After saying that I would like to welcome you to the first ever topic/thread about us coming together creating a community resource where everything mentioned and agreed upon with the community would be put into a community resource. To get started we shall now come up with a resources that we all probably want to share as a community; example is like a in-game script editor or housing system. Everything is going to be talked about in individual topics I created by me (Only to keep spam down) and the resources would be posted on the MTA Community website under a username I still have to create and will be public after the first resource goes live. I want a good radar to my server, but i cannot find. And I searched on community, but i cannot find good too.. Anyone can send me a website, or anything from where can i download good radar(s)? Thank you!
