  1. Were you ever able to see servers? Maybe your firewall is blocking the serverlist, or does your ISP have a bad connection. Try turning off your firewall, if you can see servers, you have to reconfigure your firewall. If you still can't see servers, you could use game-monitor to find servers.

  2. Added support for 720p and 1080i HDTV resolutions (may also do 1080p, not sure).

Version Number displayed on game title screen.

Issue fixed on machines where the OS has been updated (one OS installed over top of another) and has 2 registry keys that point to the users "My Documents" folder (the install incorrectly used to assume the Win2000 folder, now correctly uses the last installed OS folder) - users know this as "user account period bug".

Crash when entering advanced display options with only 32 meg of video ram (32 meg of video ram is not supported and will only allow use of 640x480 in 16 and 32 bit. At this resolution it is likely you will see the "Black Roads" LOD problem). It does NOT however disallow machines with 32 meg of video ram from running GRAND THEFT AUTO: San Andreas.

Crash when entering advanced display options on a dual monitor machine after :

starting game on primary monitor in maximum resolution, exiting, starting again in maximum resolution on secondary monitor. Secondary monitor maximum resolution had to be greater than maximum resolution of primary monitor.

Destroyed cars now are correct colour.

Dirty cars now able to get clean.

Numpad 5 key is now mappable when re-defining controls.

Issue on all machines where certain collisions caused parts of the audio system to crash (sound effects, cutscene audio

only radio keeps going) - users know this as "Rain / Thunderstorm bug".

    Improvements to DVD streaming.

Audio problems in interior / exterior transitions and getting in / out of cars fixed.

Some fixes to ensure reverb is not present at certain save points.

    Improvements to dance game timings.

Crash occurring when using "user radio files" while the frame limiter is disabled.

  3. The way you are talking is like I deleted the images from where its hosted, which I havent, I have no problem with you posting the links to the images, but end of the day people STILL use 56k and it would of been unfair on them to wait years for those to load, you can point all your anger towards me about it but if blokker or any other moderator they would of removed it too

    Who is still using modem?

I think most of players got broadband connection, as least in europe.

This is very good time for gallup!

Besides that, it allso kills the bandwith and people with bandwith limitations each month still exist.

  4. New map again!

I will use this topic to publish my race maps, and that another one for dd maps.

I like the rocky tunnel part, it is more skill dependant. But it looks like some air jumps are just too big. People with lower frame rate's won't manage to make them and on busy servers players occasionally collide, loosing speed won't help them making the jumps.

This will result into respawning, and even more colliding and frustrations.

  5. Yeah, its nasty. But when someone hits sea mines, it will blow away, so that way is free to use. So if there is a lot of players, you cant first finish this, but when there is just few mines, its very easy to finish this. Also, at the end you can break trash cars way, so someone else cant finish this race.
Well that isn't completely true, MTA race doesn't sync offscreen object changes so if anyone hits a mine they will be blown away, but another player who didn't see the other player fly off can actually be blown away by the same mine. It looks weird on the screens of players who have seen the mine "blow up" the first time and allso see the 2nd player collide with "nothing". Same goes for exploding barrels and hay etc.

This is not particulary a bad point about the map, but just keep in mind this might look silly some times.

  6. Been trying wine + San Andreas. Works ok, sound is a bit weird and theres some glitches texture wise. Have to run it in a window anyway due to compiz.

Though, core2duo 6700 and 8800gts and it still doesn't run that smooth.

And what about your sound card/onboard sound?

GTA:SA 1.0 does have some little issues with some onboard sound chips.
