People asked this before, a new topic was NOT needed to ask this.
Just give it some time, check back here often. If they decide to go with a public beta they will release only the client. Unless I am assuming they will release Server/Client at same time when it becomes a public release.

Yeah, how about a bomb vest too? That would be kinda funny. Hey, anyone remember that mission in GTA3 where the Yardies trap you it a parking lot and then all these drugged up suicide bombers run at you yelling "present for you TNT! hahahaha come to daddy hahahaha"?
Haven't seen that but should be easy to make by creating a object and attaching it directly to the player. You could use a armour object.

I remember having a issue like this with my server. Whenever maps got past 255 I would get a crash on entering server.
Try reducing the number of maps and see if that fixes anything.

Sorry to say but I am also getting this problem....All the anti cheat options are enabled so its not caused from that.
The message clearly states 404 - Not Found....Like it is trying to connect to the anticheat file server and its not there.

GTAIV is not a online game, and there will not be any "online" game for Grand Theft Auto IV. Maybe a Multiplayer.
Either way it will be a Online thing...If its just a small multiplayer its easy to just use a service to tunnel it to another system....

This is I guessd a TEMP Fix.
If you only use your xfire to record game time and are not going to use chat this will work. I have found out how to do this without mta vc crashing.
Ok heres the steps needed
1.Start Xfire
2.Goto Tools
3.Goto Options
4.Goto Game
5.Find Grand Theft Auto:Vice City
6.Click Advanced Options
7.Check Disable Xfire in game
This will disable xfire so it doesnt go in vice city. So its not integrated but it will still record the time that you used vice city.
Tell me what you think. Its worked for me NO MTA CRASHES!

MTA Blue is already out genius, and it works differently so you're fine.
Thank you for the reinsurance. I cant tell how many times i get that cause of my MSN or Aim or ill be playing good and i SUSPECIOUS SONG comes up and it disconnectes me.

Yep.. MTA thinks words like: Hacks and cheats are suspected ..

You should just shut down your programs in your task manager which are suspected..
Ya It Detects those words but has that stoped hackers. No its funny how this causes MORE problems then it solves.

Alright i know that Mta has tryed to help them but xfire wont respond but i have found a way.

Alright first of I KNOW that MTA VC and xfire are not compatible but mine works pretty good.
It doesnt make it crash the game runs good except that the peoples name on mta are like stuck flap on the ground and backwards.
This problem doesnt seem to big to fix. If anyone has some info on how to fix this if this was fixed xfire would work good for me

Tryed again this morning and BAM it works.

Alright i love using my Xfire. I was very happy with using 1.0 with xfire it worked recorded my game time i was very happy.
Now i got Recently Version 1.1.1 THE NEWEST and i start up my mta sa to get a error. I close my xfire and try again.It works.I know it is xfire cause i can start the game up then alt+tab out and about 5 seconds after xfire connects it gives the same error.
Here is the error::::::::::Couldn't Find core dump file to send!
Then it starts MTA error reporter and sends it to you guys
Report ID: 315
Any ideas and can any other xfire users comment!

Alright i am a Admin on this server. I have played at it perfectly for about 1 month.
So today i was going back on there and it goes to conncting then sits for 20 seconds and pops up a error that says:
Multi Theft Auto 0.5 has encountered a problem nad needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience
If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.
The weird thing is its ONLY for that server. I can connect perfect to any other server and go in game and it works. But this one server that i played on all the time is giving this error.

Alright me and my friend play on this server. Its a RPG in it you can own cars. When you own a car and someone uses it you get cash. Meaning that you can simply get in and out of cars and keep getting that person cash.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a program that would simply Keep pressing F or Enter. So i would keep getting in and out of a car.

I had this happen to me one time.
Ok i have 56k so i get some higher pings.
I was doing a Race and it counted down then when it said GO i couldnt go. I sat their for 30 Seconds and eveyone else could drive.
Then it just said Suspected Trainer usage Same Message you got
Remember this is still BETA nothings really official

No i do not wish to fine people for using it.
The server i use has a custom script that when you own a car and when someone gets in it you get cash. Just for them using it.
So just to let you know this is NOT to fine people
That would just ruin The sever and MTA

The reason they don't work in race is that they require SCM coding to actually pop the tire itself. Also popped tires are not possible in race because you can't shoot.
It should be easy to make it with MTA:DM because you can create a object and pop a single cars tires I believe individually.
