Long time ago, in those distant days when the evil spirit of Off-road wheels had not yet attacked the community, and Wenom was not the one effortlessly claiming first place in every round. Back when a time of 2:08 on Wu Zi Mu was considered a great achievement, and mappers, like wizards, created maps with such intricate lines that it took your breath away. In those days, when the National Cup wasn’t signed up by sixteen teams from a single nation, but by sixteen different nations.

Somewhere in the principality of LSR, a new idea ignited within us. We envisioned something fresh—a show destined to make history. For us, it was a thrilling new challenge. In August 2016, it all began. We called it The Battle Begins. Sixty-four actors, sixty-four stories, sixty-four fates, all woven together on a single stage. A tournament that was meant to mark the start of something greater. The winners? Their names may have faded from memory, but those who were there, who witnessed it firsthand, still remember those days. It was a time when, for many, everything was just beginning. Some took their first steps on stage, while others, weary yet wise, passed their knowledge to a new generation, leaving their mark on history. And no one knew where this path would lead.

Years passed, the stage evolved, just as the world around us changed. But we couldn’t leave this story unfinished. In 2021, as if awakening from a long slumber, we returned with a new season—The Battle Continues. This wasn’t just a continuation; it was a revival. The atmosphere in the air, the performances that left the audience breathless—it all became another chapter in MTA Race history. The old guard reminisced with nostalgia about the first season, while the new generation absorbed every word, every emotion, trying to imagine how it all began.

But history never stands still. The second season demanded a conclusion, a finale to put a definitive end to this saga. Actors, tired of simple roles, craved new challenges. The veterans whispered, "Remember how it was?" And the newcomers, holding their breath, listened to their tales, dreaming of becoming part of the legend themselves.

And now, years later, we return to where it all began—to complete what was started so long ago. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome... The End of The Battle. We invite all who wish to take part in this battle, where everyone can test their skills, enjoy the races, and feel the spirit of competition.
 

Description:
Your team, consisting of two players, will compete against other racers in a 2x2x2x2 system. Thirty-two teams will be randomly divided into 8 groups of 4 teams each. Players earn points for each race. The top two teams with the highest points advance to the next round. Each round consists of 5 maps, while the final round has 8 maps.

Tournament Features:
Dynamic group generation. Teams advancing to the second round will face new opponents. You will not race against the team that advanced alongside you from your group—but you may meet them again in the semifinals or final.

If two or more teams tie in points within a group, an additional tiebreaker round will be played. Rules for tiebreakers are explained below.

Varied map styles: The tournament will feature races of different types—Vanilla, Racing with NOS, Off-road, Moto, Grand Prix.

Players cannot use the quick respawn button (Default "B"). Respawn time on all maps is 10 seconds.
Unsportsmanlike behavior (profanity, insults, threats, flooding, inappropriate conduct) results in disqualification.
Forbidden: Cheats, trainers, mods, or any programs granting an unfair advantage.
Fake players are not allowed (leads to disqualification).
If a player disconnects (Timeout) within the first 10 seconds of a race, the referee will pause the race until reconnection.

Tiebreaker Rules:
An additional round is played if two or more teams are tied in points after all rounds.
2x2: Your team wins if one player finishes 1st and the other reaches the finish line. However, if one of your players finishes 1st but the other fails to finish, while opponents take 2nd and 3rd, your team loses.

I'm inviting you to participate in a event on uDka Racing Server (mtasa://37.25.106.213:22043) - we're going to play maps from the previous editions of Captains Cup tournament, that was held in 2016! This mode before, involved PRO teams picking / banning maps. We're not going to use Captains Mode for that matter, because we're re-building the map pool for a pro game that will be held on that particular mode, however we just are going to play maps with normal CW script.

For future events you can add the server to your favourites on the server browser, we usually make them on Saturday / Sunday, starting from 16-18CET hour, however if you added to favourites and still dont see it - just search uDka and you should see the server with gamemode: RACE LITE.

What is it?

- Captains Cup it's a gamemode, where you ban / pick maps (just like in e-Sports) from certain categories. You can pick from categories like: Bike Maps, Classic Maps (DEV maps), Circuits etc.: Chat prompts will guide you, and tell you when you ban, and when you pick. You also have limited time to pick maps, if you'll not pick anything - map will be picked randomly. Only classic RACE gamemode maps, not DM / DD Race.

What is "Carbon Points System" ? - It's a system, that gives you points depending on your position in a race. For example - if you would collect Checkpoint 1 from 1st place, you would get 15 points to your score, if you would do it from 2nd place however - you would get 13 points. Tournament results will be posted as soon, as event will end. You will be able to see the scores by pressing "Tab" button and checking your desired score under your nickname, and other's score as well. Keep also in mind, that maps that will be presented on the event, aren't from MTA Community Website (community.multitheftauto.com/), there will be user-made maps that were NEVER posted on MTA Community

Keep in mind, that this is not a "DM Race" event, this is a Classic Race event with a "Stunt maps" vibe. Last map is worth the most points - because it's the longest (9 min) and you can get alot of points there.

For about few months I thought about doing some cool MTA:SA Racing Event - for racing enthusiasts and here I'm coming with the brilliant idea, that was actually taken very positively in one of my community Discord Channels - Speedrunning Classic MTA:SA Race Maps.

What are MTA:SA Classic Race Maps?

- These are maps, that were introduced in the early launch of MTA:SA. Of course, some of them aren't playable, or broken - and I'm skipping DD (Destruction Derby) maps (in these speedruns we're focusing on maps with checkpoints).

Is there a map pool?

- Yes, map pool is present but it's slightly modified. Some problematic maps, and nonesense maps (such as Hot Route, or Island - were removed), also mx_sky which is crashing the "gamemode" was also removed - other maps on the other hand are playable & ready to play & do toptimes on  

Is there a video, from me showing how to play this speedrun?

- Yes, here it is: 

 I've did this run in 2h:16m:55s - I counted it without stopwatch, or anything else - I just started counting time in my editing program from the very first frame when the "racing map title" shows up (0:01) to the end (when the text "You've won a race" shows up) - it's easy to count that way. I would prefer these cool speedrunning essentials that speedruners use (these Time Split programs like Live Split)

What are the rules?

- Here you go, i've written them couple of months ago (somewhere in May)

Rules:

- Players play on 60fps server
- No splicing allowed - you record / stream the run from the beginning of the first map - to the end of the last map (like on the video)
- Wheelie-tapping, motorbike tapping (with UP Arrow, and Down+UP Arrow) (to boost your speed) is allowed

- Players are allowed before the recorded / streamed run, to examine / play maps randomly in order to train the best map lines
- Maps while speedrunning are played in order - from very first one to last one (just like in the first submitted run)
- In the server resource file, all up-to date fixes are installed (map fixes, some object collision fixes) and updated Anti Cheat settings
- Time is counted after you start the first map (in your recording) and ends after you complete the last map in the list
- You are not allowed to change server settings in any way (in the server resource package to download, already everything is set up, so you need to only launch the Local server and join it) (i can make some exceptions: if you want to turn off scripts like Delay Indicator, Race Ghost or some other scripts that bother you - you can for example, but only if they aren't affecting the car speed, etc in any way)
- You are not allowed to cheat, use trainers. This will result in disqualification.

How to set up the server?

- Download server files along with installed resources
- Unpack the server anywhere
- Click and open MTA Server
- Join MTA:SA and head over to Server Browser / Local
- Join "Speedrun Server" on local
- Login with /login Speedrun 1234 (if there's no account - type /register Speedrun 1234 , and then login with the same credentials)
- Press "P" to open Admin Panel and head over to maps. There are speedrun maps, you can play them by pressing double click on the name.

- NEW RULE (added now): If you have a script that will boot up every single map in the order (from the first one - to the last one > it is allowed)

Allowed commands / binds on the server:
- To enable carhide, press C, to enable Carfade press X (these things up your FPS count a little)
- To select nitro variation type /nos (nfs, hybrid, normal) - nfs nitro is commonly used (you can turn it on / off manually by pressing Mouse / CTRL)
- If you're still worried if there's no 60fps on the server, you can limit the game to 60fps by typing /fpslimit (vehicle, boat) (number)
so it should look like this: /fpslimit vehicle 60, /fpslimit boat 60
- If you don't see well in the maps with night time / weather press O to turn on Day mode

Other Scripts:

One Spawn - this script makes you to spawn everytime at the "best spawn" (everybody will have equal chances there)

No Smoke Horn - as name says, no smoke horn while pressing accelerate button before the countdown starts

I hope I can encourage some of you to try it out, and play the maps for yourself and compete in this fun little event. I've provided needed links for the already done server, so you just boot it up from MTA Server.exe   There is no event end-date so you can basically do runs wherever you feel like doing so

Many of you here might already be participants of previous NCs, so you know how much fun it brings and how special this event is to the racing community.

The most important information regarding registration of a team and gameplay mechanics:

- Team Captains can register/edit their teams till 17 January 2021
- Minimum 5 players required for registration
- For standard teams every player must be from the same country (It can be country of residence or origin)
- In order to unite two or more countries, all of these countries must have less than 5 active players in the community
- Unite requests will be checked and decided by organisers. Any abusive teams/offers will be declined immediately
- Players without a National or United team can register for ROTW. Players from a country with more than 5 active players can't register for ROTW team. If a country is united with an other nation, other players of the nation can't register for ROTW as well
- More than one ROTW teams can be created

- Matches are held in 60 fps, on vanilla San Andreas map with no nitro pickups

We are here to present a marvellous and most fascinating event ever organized for our Destruction Derby Community from Multi Theft Auto San Andreas. With the collaboration of our previous organizers such as 'TC|sEEk and off-course KekZ|#Zayn we are giving out our destruction derby a new era of entertainment with no such wars between teams or clans.

This time its all about you and yourself to show the world around the skills you got. In esports, we often talk about gamers who "want it" more than others.These are the players who show up early, who use up every last ounce of energy in pursuit of their best performance. Players for whom defeat is viscerally painful, the ones who will stop at nothing to succeed. It's now our job to inspire and channel the motivation and use it to maximize the community's performance.

This league is all about the pleasure to have from the different modes of Destruction Derby that we are presenting to you. Their will be no knockouts so no worry for anyone to be part of us for a little time. Every player will stand with us till last day of league and never misses the joy. Their will be three modes of league with their own rules and regulations to play. Following are the there DD Game modes which we gonna have throughout the league days.

1. Head-to-head DD
2. Jump Clash DD
3. Stunt Battle DD

Starting with the first, Head-to-head DD. This gamemode involves the Cross Destruction Derby Maps with checkpoints to get them all till the finish point. Yes folks, this is the DD Race Mode where everyone can participate to show their vehicle driving skills. Every round 3 players have to finish to get points according to their ranks from 1st to 3rd. Every round after 3 players finishes, the map will be changed and similarly each time we will be playing 10 maps. And that's not it, this system will go on whole day where after every 3 hours the event will be started. This way we will have the event running for the whole day. Point system will be recorded by wins, ranks and top times. So got good skills to run? then try to run for yourself!

Secondly, Jump Clash DD. This gamemode involves also the Destruction Derby Cross Maps just with a little modification of jumps. Every player will be able to jump and every 5 sec jump reloads. The system will be same like after every 3 hour event will be played with 10 maps but here we will have a modification of TDM. Yes fellows, their will be a team death match with this system also. Every player will be set to random team by generator. Stats will be recorded in the server like kills, assists, wins, ratio etc.

Third, Stunt Battle DD. By the name you all can guess what you will have to do. Yes fellows this mode will involve only your own skills to show off. Random matches will be generated for player vs player. Each player will show his stunt where opponent will have to perform it same as player does. During the time of Stunt Battle, we will enable the pvp system for other two modes also where we will organize matches for players to challenge others for pvp in these 3 modes.

The league will be for playable for continuous 3 weeks i-e 21 consecutive days. All stats will be recorded on the website main page, in league tables section. Their will be no limit for the registrations because any player can take part in the league just he have to register him on site so their stats could be in records. It all started off more than 12 years ago, when the original release of Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas kickstarted a completely new era of multiplayer gaming in the GTA series. Back then, the MTA experience was nothing like it is nowadays; very basic vehicle synchronization and a only limited set of gamemodes existed - Race, Freeroam, DeathMatch and Demolition Derby. In fact, one could not even leave his vehicle, meaning all the action had to take place sitting in a car. Sounds quiet boring, doesn't it? Why would anyone play this? Well, the revolutionary Map Editor and a devoted community of enthusiasts managed to create something amazing out of the little they had. To name a few honorable communities that even I myself came across: PhrozenByte, littlewhitey's, SKC and DDC. Take a look at the server browser back in the good ol' days.

Today, FFS Gaming is proudly carrying on the Racing legacy bringing together decade-old traditions and fresh innovations. We improved and re-invented several aspects of the Racing scene over the years with the goal of making it even more enjoyable for the casual player. Especially the transtion from DeathMatch to Who Finishes First was a controversial, yet groundbreaking decision which allowed for tons of new competitive formats to be created. One of them being Who Finishes First: Old School to which we are adding a 100€ Prize Pool!

What's the tournament about?

Who Finishes First: Old School is an open tournament based on passing maps further and faster than your competitors. The core concept is very similar to conventional Race - just without any checkpoints. Top-4 players who passed the longest distance on the map receive 3, 2, 1 and 1 points accordingly. The Map Pool consists of 20 maps that are generally considered "oldschool" - they were mainly created and played back in 2009-2011. So called "speed maps" with a smooth track, lack of slow and BMX parts. Not too hard maps, but definitely challenging enough to make you have a hard time competing. So, how do I play?

Obviously, you should have Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas installed alongside Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The next step would be to sign up at our Forum in order to post a registration entry in the corresponding thread. Registration is open till July 17th 2018 and you are obliged to submit your Serial which can be obtained through MTA Console (Press F8 to open & type in "serial" to show your Serial). Apart from that you should simply remain patient and keep checking your Skype or PM inbox for scheduling inquiries.

The Group Stage lasts from August 4th till September 16th with the Grand Final being played on November 18th. Make sure to check out our DeathMatch OldSchool A Arena in order to train for the upcoming matches. Our public server can be found under the following IP: mtasa://ffs-gaming.com:22003

What can I win?

For the first time in the history of Who Finishes First: Old School we are replacing in-game prizes with actual money. It has been about time to spice up the tournaments!

The main target of this site, to make clan wars more fair, because now there is a lot of problems like guys who abusing admin rights during cw, or not existence of "official" rules for cws, etc.

So we wrote the rules for clan wars and made the forum for results of cws, if someone was abusing admin rights, you just put the screen with proofs, and their team get -1 karma or +1 warning (such function will be added soon). Before cw you can check profile of any team and see their karma to make decision if its good idea to play against them. Btw this is resolving the problem when teams dont want add their defeats on their site, now all will see results on our site.

This is will works only if teams and players will support this site and idea. We are welcome for your questions and suggestions on our forum, everything in your hands.

Except this, we made another things like media page, list of clans, function to get subforum for guys who wanna make the tournament or any event, etc

We will continue to work with it till we have ideas, but as we said - everything in your hands because its nothing without your support.

I would like to announce to you, on behalf of my clan, the Ultimate Gitwars!

The tournament will basically be a free-for-all tournament, and it can consist of any DM maps (whether it would be oldschool, classic, newschool, etc.)

Current prizes will include money sent to a player's steam wallet. Another prize can be worked out if you don't have steam.

Rounds: 9 rounds (4 random bases, each play twice then arena 2)

Hello Everybody! We come today with new event in Fellow Team, DD tournament! free for all, get your team & come to show us your team work.

Rules :

This Tournament free for all, Anybody can participate.

Each team consists on 3 players and 1 reserve.

​Number of rounds : 10.

Number of maps: 5 , each map gets played 2 times in a row .

If the team miss match without a reason, the team will be disqualified.

If the team has less than 3 members in the server, then we play 2v3.

If the team has less than 2 members in the server, the team will be disqualified.

Only the players which are listed on the player list are allowed to play.

In case of camping, your team will instantly lose the round.

If someone times out before the map starts, we redo the map.

If someone times out while the map is running (if he is alive), we play further.

Do not spam, insult or provoke another contestant for any reason.

If someone lags too much, reserve player plays then.

FPS: Minimum - 36; Maximum - 50.

Ping: Maximum - 180.

Hello, this topic contains all the info regarding the tournament we're about to organise!

As you probably figured out, it is gonna be a sequel of the previous DD tournament XIII held, exactly 1 year ago (yeah, long time). You will participate with your team (teams of 3 players), and you will only play 1 vs 1 matches (team matches). You will firstly choose 2 of the DD maps from the main server, maps which you are gonna use in every single match of yours.

We are looking for as many teams as possible to register. The matches will be chosen randomly and after each match, the team which losses gets knocked-out of the tournament. The teams which go further are to play against each other in the upcoming stages. Every match will consist of 12 rounds (each of the 4 maps to be played 3 times). If any match will end up with a tie, there'll be an extra round.

What you need to do in order to register is to mention in a comment below the 3 members of your team, the name of your team and the 2 maps which you want to use in the tournament. If you're willing to play but you don't have a team, feel free to state it in a comment - you might get lucky and find some teammates!

Ah well, the dates aren't set yet. All we know is that it is gonna take place in january! We're gonna set a date which we hope to be good for each of the participants, but we'll do it a bit later.

The prize will be a symbolic amount of ingame money, of course, the real prize is the fun!
